It's a wrap on "Why am I in a Box?" written/directed by Silent-But-Deadly Co-producer, Rachel Grubb! We are now headed into post-production on "Why am I in a Box?"! While in post-production we're going to start the preproduction stage on a series of short films to be directed by Co-producer, Brooke Lemke in 2008. We hope to have "Box?" ready for a premiere in late summer/fall 2008! We will keep you posted on all the Silent-But-Deadly projects!

We have updated the website! Please check out our "Donation Information" page to learn more about donating and then check out our "Download" page to get your copy of the donation form if interested in helping out Silent-But-Deadly Productions! We have also added a page with photos from the production of "Why am I in a Box?" and we will continue to add photos as production continues! We are very proud of how everything is coming along and we're incredibly proud of everyone taking part on this production that we believe so strongly in!

We are now over half way through production on "Why am I in a Box?"! Eight days down and five days left! We couldn't be happier with how well things have been going on production. The team and work we set in place before production is having a positive effect on production. Our crew and cast are incredibly talented, hard working, passionate and very professional. They have all stepped up and are the reason why this film will be completed in just over a month. Then its onto post-production! In the meantime, our focus remains on production, fundraising and press. We are fast approaching the production stage, but we're still focused on everything that needs to get done in the preproduction stage. We had our table reading two weeks ago and all of the main actors were there along with a few day players. It was great to get everyone in the same room and read with everyone.
We are currently in the funding stages of preproduction and we have a good team together that's going to be helping us out. We have a meeting on 9/20 and we should be getting the ball rolling on that. On top of that we're securing locations and crew and finalizing our shooting schedule. We are also working on wardrobe and nailing down the details as we are three weeks away from production! Keep checking back for more updates on the progress of Silent-But-Deadly Productions' first feature length film!

Silent-But-Deadly Productions is making big progress in the preproduction process of "Why am I in a Box?". Yesterday, Silent-But-Deadly held auditions and is in the decision process, which will be a difficult one, as every actor who showed up brought something that would allow them to be in a role. Be checking back to see the complete list of cast. We plan on having the decisions made by 8/24. We have also made progress on donation information and will have that up on the website very soon! Keep checking back for more updates as things are moving along quickly as the production stage is fast approaching. We plan on going into production on October 13th!

Silent-But-Deadly Productions is official! We are happy to announce that Silent-But-Deadly Productions has been approved for a fiscal sponsorship through Springboard for the Arts. Tax deductable donations may be made to Springboard for the Arts on behalf of Silent-But-Deadly Productions. Keep checking back for further updates to learn what you can do to support women in film.
