About Silent-But-Deadly Productions

Silent-But-Deadly Productions was born when Rachel Grubb, Brooke Lemke and Heather Amos worked together as actors on "Tales of the Dead," a Minnesota horror film in October 2006. The three women enjoyed working together so much that they decided to start their own production company. They wanted to take a more active role in casting, writing, directing and producing the films they were involved in.

Rachel Grubb's Biography

Rachel Grubb earned her English degree from the College of St. Catherine. Shortly after graduation, she won the Best Breakthrough Screenplay award at the New York International Independent Film And Video Festival for her first feature length script. Her interest in film led her to begin taking acting classes and auditioning for films in the Twin Cities area. In the past few years, Rachel has acted in numerous local and independent shorts, features, music videos, and television shows. With Silent-But-Deadly Productions, Rachel hopes to use her writing talents in conjunction with her abilities as an actress.

Brooke Lemke's Biography

Brooke Lemke came from Iowa to Minneapolis in 2005 after the opportunity of acting in "Invasion Iowa" with William Shatner. After her experience on set, Brooke decided to pursue a career in acting. Brooke began taking classes, acting as an extra and attending local auditions and paying her dues. She went on to receive several roles as leads, principals, featured and even worked behind the camera. Brooke believes Silent-But-Deadly Productions will become a driving force in Independent filmmaking. "We are three women, with three different backgrounds, with one common dream of making films we'd be passionate about. We all know our own strengths and each others' strengths and we bring them to our company which makes us an incredible powerhouse. On top of that we are passionate, we want to learn, improve and grow as artists and when you're that open-minded and committed, there's no limit to what you can do. And I hope with this company we can show other women and inspire them that all it takes is a dream, some great friends, an open-mind and some passion to make anything happen." Brooke's first passion is acting and focuses on that, but thanks to Silent-But-Deadly Productions she's able to pursue her other interests of producing, directing, writing, editing, crew work and so much more!
